![]() The growth of mainstream animation has changed the landscape of entertainment, breaking down the barriers imposed on flesh-and-blood humans. It's crazy to think that, in the century-plus since Snow White being the first color feature-length animated film, animation has given is given us everything from steamboat-steering mice and sly stop-motion foxes to, well, you name it: a septet of singing dwarves, humanity-saving robots, superhero families, and a lovable, unclassifiable creature known as a Totoro.
